David Verbuč
On this episode, Jessica Schwartz talks with David Verbuč (PhD in ethnomusicology at the University of California, Davis, 2014). Since 2014 he has worked as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Humanities, Charles University in Prague, where he teaches sociocultural anthropology, ethnomusicology, and popular music courses. He is an author of the book DIY House Shows and Music Venues in the US: Ethnographic Explorations of Place and Community (Routledge, 2021), and the Editor-in-Chief of the English edition of the international anthropological journal Lidé města / Urban People.
